"Anataban" Youth of South Sudan.

A Truly Noble and Inspirational Initiative by the "Anataban" Youth of South Sudan.

As we pass the One Year Anniversary of the murder of our Late Dear Son, Brother, Friend & Colleague, Dr. Ding Col Dau Ding; the now seminal image of him examining a young South Sudanese Child whilst practicing under the Charitable Outreach Programme of the Airport Road Diagnostic Centres, an image also beautifully painted by the hugely talented Jo Bates and now displayed forever more in Tribute & Remembrance of him within Aylsham High School in the UK, can be seen being painted here on a mural by a talented young South Sudanese artist.

Permanent Tribute to the Late Dr. Ding

Permanent Tribute to the Late Dr. Ding

As a permanent tribute in memory of the Late Dr. Ding Col Dau Ding, we are very honoured to announce that there will be a permanent memorial dedicated to him in Aylsham High School where he went to school and undertook all of his formal Secondary School education in the UK.

Thanks to Dr. Ding's very loving close friends who also hail from the very beautiful town and very close and warm community of Aylsham in the County of Norfolk in England, where Dr. Ding and his family moved to, lived and grew up in the 1980's and early 1990's, the amazingly talented artist and teacher, Jo Bates, has painted two beautiful portraits of the Late Dr. Ding in memory and in honour of his life's achievements.

One painting of him treating a war-displaced orphan in South Sudan, shall be placed permanently within the High School to act as a permanent inspiration to other children to also aspire and try to do wonderful things for themselves and for their fellow humankind both in their education and towards helping and caring for others in need and far less fortunate than themselves. A copy of this same portrait will also be permanently displayed within a new healthcare facility in South Sudan which will carry the Late Dr. Ding's name.

The second portrait of the Late Dr. Ding shall be hung within the family homes in the UK and in South Sudan.

The two paintings were unveiled this week to the Late's father, Dr. Col Dau Ding, to his partner, Jean, and to his elder brother, Dr. Dau Col Dau Ding, by the Aylsham friends of the Late and the Headmaster of Aylsham High School, Mr. Duncan Spalding.

The family of the Late have been unbelievably touched and are incredibly honoured by this recognition of their Late Son and Brother's achievements, and the warm ties he will always have with the wonderful town of Aylsham.
We shall be forever grateful to Dr. Ding's friends and to Aylsham High School for honouring our Beloved Dr. Ding, and we cannot thank them enough for this heartwarming gesture.

God Bless You All and you shall forever be in our hearts and minds, which you have helped immeasurably to provide much greater strength and solace to as we now celebrate the Late Dr. Ding's life and his incredible achievements.

Thank you again for your genuinely true and undying love and support.
